Epoxidació
El MCPBA (àcid meta-cloroperoxibenzoic) és un agent oxidant fort, que oxidarà els alquens en epòxids.
Mecanisme
- L’alquè ataca l’oxigen carregat positivament del reactiu mcpba que condueix a l’epòxid de syn i l’àcid carboxílic corresponent.
